Features

Lens Overlay

A circular arc drawn around your camera lens shows battery level as a sweep angle. Floats over every app — always visible when you need it.

Live Battery Level

Reads your current battery percentage and renders it as both the arc sweep and a number at the centre. Updates automatically every 30 seconds.

Drag to Position

Drag the overlay in the preview canvas to sit it exactly over your camera cutout. Use the 1 px d-pad for final fine-tuning and lock it in with Save.

Adjustable Size

Set width and height independently from 20 to 200 px. Enable aspect-ratio lock to resize proportionally — useful for oval or punch-hole lenses.

Color Themes

Choose from Green, Blue, Amber, Coral, or White. The arc automatically turns red when battery drops to 15% or below, regardless of your chosen theme.

Solid or Dashed Arc

Switch between a clean solid arc or a segmented dashed style with 20 equal segments — giving the overlay a more technical, minimal look.

Background Fill

Add a background behind the arc: none, black, dark grey, or white. Useful on busy wallpapers where the arc alone would blend into the background.

Setup

01

Grant "Display over other apps" Permission

Open Lens Battery and tap the overlay toggle. Android will prompt you to grant Display over other apps permission — this is required for the floating overlay to appear on top of other apps and your home screen.

02

Allow Notifications

Enable notifications for Lens Battery. The overlay runs as a foreground service and requires a persistent notification to keep running when the app is in the background.

03

Disable Battery Optimisation

Go to Settings → Apps → Lens Battery → Battery and select Unrestricted. This prevents Android from killing the overlay service when the screen has been on for a while.

04

Position the Overlay over Your Lens

Back in the app, drag the circular indicator in the preview canvas until it sits over your camera cutout. Use the d-pad buttons for 1 px nudges in any direction. Adjust size with the sliders or the fine-size controls until the ring fits snugly around your lens.

05

Save and Enable the Overlay

Tap Save to commit your position, size, and style settings. Then tap the overlay toggle to turn it on. The battery ring will now float over your camera lens across all apps until you turn it off.
